Programme Description of Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design
BSc in Fashion Designing is typically offered as a three-year undergraduate degree course that combines classroom learning with industrial training to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the fashion industry and design methodologies, techniques, and technology.
The course, a bachelor’s degree in fashion design, is offered by State Govt. University in association with NAFDI in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. The course covers a wide range of Fashion Designing subjects like Fabric Science & Analysis, Fashion Art & Design, Visual Merchandising, Textile Design, History of Textiles, Pattern Making, Fashion Marketing and Merchandising, and so on.
Students are given advanced knowledge and comprehension in the practical areas of contemporary fashion and technology. Students are given a thorough introduction to various facets of fashion designing and styling throughout the course of the programme. In order to advance their professional development, students are exposed to project-based learning and the design art language.
